Celery Juicing 101
Celery Juicing 101
Q&A
I started following the Medical Medium (@medicalmedium) recently and was blown away by his ideas, his 2.2 million IG followers, his before and after result pictures on IG, and stories of healing. Below is a Q&A based on my thoughts, and also the Medical Mediums information on celery juicing.
MY THOUGHTS/ JOURNEY
Started Dec 2019
Been doing it for about 4 + weeks
Yes, I miss days between for travel & such
Sometimes I juice (juicer here) at home & sometimes I buy my juices locally at Buda Juice, and they also ship US wide.
Big changes? I see improvements in my acne, less bloating, weight loss, cravings gone, etc.
I do personally enjoy the taste, but I’ve been drinking green juices for years so I’m somewhat used to a garden green type taste lol
It doesn’t hurt my stomach at all or cause issues
I chug it first thing in the morning, then wait 30 minutes to drink my coffee or eat

BEST TIME TO DRINK IT?
The morning… on an empty stomach before you consume anything else other than water or lemon water wait at least 15 to 30 minutes after the lemon before having your celery juice.
WHAT IS THE RECIPE?
16 ounces of celery juice…NOTHING ELSE
HOW DO I MAKE IT?
Ingredients:
2 heads of celery
Directions:
Rinse the celery and run it through a juicer. Drink immediately for best results.
Alternatively, you can chop the celery and blend it in a high-speed blender until smooth. Strain well and drink immediately.
WHY CAN’T I ADD ANYTHING?
Celery juice works best on it’s own. Adding any other ingredients to the juice will dilute it’s medicinal properties.
DOES CELERY JUICE BREAK A FAST?
Technically anything over 50 calories breaks an intermittent fast. 16oz of celery juice is about 85 calories, so yes. I do Intermittent Fasting some days during the week and I still drink my celery juice in the AM, it’s not a big enough intake of calories to make me feel “bad:” about it, so I drink my celery juice and continue my fast as usual…. but totally up to you.
DOES THE CELERY HAVE TO BE OGANIC?
No, but that’s the best kind.
I CAN’T DRINK IT FIRST THING IN THE AM, ANOTHER OPTION?
If thing in the AM is best, but second-best option is to drink it 15 to 30 minutes before eating something or 30 to 60 minutes after eating a light snack or 2 hours after eating a heavier meal anytime during the day.
WHAT JUICER DO YOU USE?
I have used this Breville Juicer since 2014 and it still works amazing, but any juicer will work great.
WHY CAN’T I JUST EAT CELERY INSTEAD?
Eating celery itself is helpful and should be part of your diet, but you will not be able to consume enough celery to get the benefits of juicing it. You wouldn’t be able to receive the concentrated undiscovered cluster salts.
Quickly rebuild your hydrochloric acid so that your stomach can break down protein. If protein isn’t broken down properly it will cause gut rot. Strong hydrochloric acid is important to kill off pathogens entering your mouth.
Celery Juice increases and strengthens your bile. Strong bile is important for the break down fats, and for the killing off pathogens; that have made their way into your body. Eating straight celery wouldn’t allow you to get enough of celery’s cluster salts; that acts as antiseptics for pathogens.
Celery juice restores your central nervous system. Removes old toxins and poisons.
DOES IT HURT YOUR STOMACH/ CAUSE PAIN?
It doesn’t hurt my stomach at all, but the Medical Medium has a more in-depth answer here if you want to read it.
SAFE WHILE PREGNANT?
According to the Medical Medium….Yes, celery juice is safe and healthy to consume while pregnant. If you have any concerns, you can consult your doctor.
